Lamanai Eco Tours Ltd. (LET) began operations in 1999 by its founder and CEO, Mr. Errol George Cadle.  The company began with one small boat and over the years additional boats were acquired.  To date the company owns a fleet of boats ranging in sizes from 17' to 38'.  The company's site of operations is located at Mile 49 1/2 Phillip Goldson Hwy. (Formerly Northern Hwy.), Orange Walk District, Belize.  The 12 Acre site is nestled between the Highway and the New River.  It is landscaped with tropical plants which forms a natural canopy giving one the impression of being in a lush tropical jungle which  is home to a wide variety of birds.  The site provides for adequate parking for vehicles of all types and sizes and its entrance is clearly demarcated by a sign.

LET offers a  package tour which includes a scenic river cruise en route to the Lamanai Archaeological Site.  The river cruise is approximately 55 minutes and while en route passengers can see an abundance of wildlife - flora and fauna which survives naturally in their habitat.  The cost of the cruise comes with lunch, water and aerated drinks.   In addition, LET offers  boat rental for private trips as well as  fishing for the various specie of fishes which lives in the river and lagoon. All boats are captained by one our experienced captains who are knowledgeable of the river, the best fishing areas, the archaeological site and the flora and fauna. 

We are the only tour operators who offer a daily run to the Lamanai Archaeological  Site.  Our boats leave at 9:00 AM daily and returns around 2:30PM. In the case of cruise passengers we  provide adequate time for cruise ship passengers to return to their port of embarkation.  All bookings including pick up from Belize City can be done through us.  We also offer group rates and provide lunch water and aerated drinks.  We can accommodate in excess of 400 people at any one time.

We also have an amount of hammocks on the site where one can easily relax should he needs to do so.
